It’s vital that you consult with your physician for any supplemental pills or drinks. It’s so important that you can’t afford to overdose without knowing and not be able to perform your greatest at the gym. I know it’s a lot of work and really boring to do all of that and then have the doctor’s opinion say you can’t take that particular supplement. For example take Animal Stak, which will give you energy during a workout and basically you won’t feel a thing when you lift (personal experience). When you have that feeling you’re on top of the world and nothing can stop you from doing more sets and reps than what you went into the gym to do. That’s something that you don’t want to happen. You’ll overtrain without even knowing it and you’ll be out of the gym for weeks trying to recover.
Most people get on supplements to get that bodybuilding physique that they see on the magazine covers fast and without that much work. That’s a lie!!! You always have to work to get what you want, in life and the gym. Supplements are for that extra boost in your workout so that you can get through it or get that extra protein in your system for the muscle building process. Before the intake of supplements such as animal stak, whey protein, creative, and other anabolic supplements I recommend you see a doctor about taking them to see if your body is ready or able to take the nutrients and extra vitamins those things put in your body.
Example:
Your creatine bottle says to take two teaspoons of it and mix it with grape juice for the best results. But you don’t see the results as fast as you wish you could, so you put another teaspoon or two into the grape juice to get more of that building process of the water in your muscles. What you don’t know is that if you take too much creatine in a bottle or glass your stomach can’t produce it as it can when you only use two teaspoons and the right amount of water. You’ll start to feel sick and most likely vomit. And when you drink the grape juice you’ll taste a filmy powdery substance in your mouth that came from the creatine. There wasn’t enough water or juice for all of that creatine to mix into.
Now I’m not saying the more water you mix with the creatine the better because that’s not true. Your stomach still won’t be used to that much creatine at one time. You’ll still feel sick and you won’t want to do anything which will take time from the gym. So what should you have done before you used the creatine? Or even after you started to use it? See a doctor. The example showed no progress, so that person upped the dose which is really overdosing. Screwed himself out of the gym and feels sick for a couple of days. That’s just one example and there’s just too many that I can name right now that’ll do the same thing. Workout safely and do the limits of your body.
